Great harmonies, flashy guitar work, danceable fun and an incredible selection of pop music's favorite hits make the CRUISIN CATS (formerly the Kool Cats) one of Denver's most popular groups. Formed on the east coast by bassist Josh Filley in 1973, the current CRUISIN CATS line-up has been playing in Denver for over 19 years. It doesn't matter if the band is performing with the legendary Chuck Berry at Mile High Stadium in front of 55,000 screaming fans, or playing for 100 people at a private party, the CRUISIN CATS are always a crowd pleaser.
From 1994 to 2007 the Cruisin' Cats were
known as the Kool Cats, the exclusive "House Band" of Denver's KOOL 105 Radio.
Due to dramatic changes in format at the radio station in 2008, the band ended
their relationship with Kool and was honored to become affiliated with Cruisin' Oldies 950. The band will continue playing the "Good Time's, Great Oldies" music from the 50's, 60's and 70’s as
now the exclusive “House Band” of Cruisin' Oldies 950 radio. We look forward to
the success of Cruisin' Oldies 950 in the Denver market and we’ll be proud to represent the station at many of their upcoming events!
